Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Moonhub Builders Sdn. Bhd. ("Moonhub", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through moonhub.my and in the course of providing renovation and construction services. We process personal data in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Data we collect

When you contact us or engage our services, we may collect:

• Identity and contact details — name, phone number, email address and property address;
• Project information — descriptions of your property and the works you are enquiring about, including photographs you share with us;
• Commercial records — quotations, contracts, invoices and payment records where you become a client;
• Technical data — limited cookie and usage data as described in our Cookie Policy.

2. Why we collect it

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, arrange site visits, perform contracts, comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including tax and construction-industry requirements), and maintain records of completed works for warranty purposes. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

3. Who we share it with

Data is shared only where necessary to deliver the work you have asked for: with our own staff and site crews, with professional consultants (for example structural engineers) engaged on your project, with authorities where a permit application requires it, and with service providers who host our website and email. Each of these parties receives only what they need for their role.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry data that does not lead to a project is deleted within 24 months. Client and project records are retained for 7 years after project completion to satisfy warranty, tax and legal requirements, after which they are securely destroyed.

5. Security

Personal data is stored on access-controlled systems. Paper records are kept at our registered office with restricted access. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, and withdraw consent to processing (subject to contractual and legal limits). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We respond to data requests within 21 days.
